About Us
In 1999, Beverly founded Expanding Opportunities as a non-profit organization with the greater mission of assisting underprivileged people in the country of Kenya, Africa. Aina Moja, a small business venture, was established as a means to raise money for the organization while providing moderate incomes for some of the African business people and artists. The business expanded its online venture to include 1st African Clothing and later the purchase of KangaUSA.
Through the sale of African products at the three web sites:
www.ainamoja.com (Aina Moja), www.1stafricanclothing.com (1st African Clothing) and www.kangausa.com (KangaUSA) and the sale of Peruvian Art and Crafts (www.peruartandcrafts.com) money is raised to help fund the projects of Expanding Opportunities.
