Items are shipped within three business days of receipt of the order. If an item is not in stock at the time the order is placed, you will receive email notification. At that time, you may choose to back order the item, or cancel your order. Orders are shipped through USPS Priority Mail. Regular shipping fees are calculated at checkout and included in your order total. All orders include a tracking number and orders over $25.00 include Insurance. Expedited shipping and international shipping will be calculated AFTER the order and you will be contacted for approval before charging your card. Here is a list of approximated shipping fees: NO SHIPPING OR HANDLING FEES for orders $50.00 or over. For INTERNATIONAL ORDERS your shipping will be calculated AFTER the order and you will be notified for approval before you Credit Card is charged.
Shipping fees are calculated based on merchandise total using Priority Mail shipping. Occasionally, it may be necessary to adjust shipping fees after an order has been placed in order to cover the actual shipping cost. If this is the case, 1st African Clothing will notify you through email prior to shipping to confirm any additional shipping costs. Once confirmation is complete, then your order will be shipped. Upon special request, we will also ship UPS and FedEx. The shipping fee will be calculated at the time the request is made. Please be sure you request UPS or FedEx shipping when you place your order. International orders require extra shipping charges. These charges will be calculated after an order is placed. If you are placing an international order, please make a note in the comment box at checkout. We will contact you prior to shipping with the additional shipping fees. Customs duty charges may be levied by the receiving country on international orders. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer. A great deal of care is taken when packaging your items for shipment. Occasionally accidents happen. If your item arrives damaged, keep all original packaging materials and email sales@1stafricanclothing.com with the details of the damage. If the item was insured, please notify your local local shipping firm immediately.
